Description: Cloud Lilies is inspired by the bulb of the Carolina Lily and the process of groundwater moving into plants and then transpiring into the atmosphere. Seats inspired by lily bulbs create an inviting space, which is sheltered by upsidedown forms of the bulbs suggesting clouds. The stem-like columns evoke the form of a pavilion. The lily bulb symbolizes the potential for growth, as well as the hidden struggles of others.
