I’m honored to be awarded a Wave Hill Van Lier Visual Artist Fellowship.
I’m excited to announce an exhibition I organized of artworks generated using the Creatomatic by a group of amazing artists and designers! Come to the opening on December 1st from 6 to 8pm at Eyebeam.

I will be presenting Ideogenetic Machine at the Art and Code 3D conference at Carnegie Mellon, Oct 21-23.
Ideogenetic Machine will be installed in the Eyebeam Project Space from October 4th to October 23rd.
I will present Ideogenetic Machine as part of the Art in Odd Places Festival. A portrait artist will fill the empty frames of an otherwise complete comic book with hand-drawn portraits of participants on the street.

I will be travelling to South Korea from August 16th to 28th as part of the Eyebeam roadshow. We will conduct a series of workshops and present an exhibition at the Total Museum of Contemporary Art.

Open Studios at Eyebeam on June 17th and 18th.
Artist Jacob Tonski and I successfully conducted the first ever Creatomatic Workshop designed to turn participants into idea machines on June 13th and 16th. We brainstormed using the Creatomatic method and prototyped our new inventions over 10 hours.

I am pleased to announce that my proposal Archipelago will be part of the 01SJ Biennial this year in San Jose. The theme this year is “Build Your Own World” which allows artists the opportunity to be both critical and hopeful. The Biennial will be showing the work of some of my favorite artists and collectives, Tim Hawkinson, Futurefarmers, Bernie Lubell and Rebar plus countless others.
